某文章中有这么一句话:This phase noise is comparable to previously reported HBT DRO performance [I], [4], [6], [18] when normalizing the phase noise to center frequency using a 6 dB/octave frequency relationship represented by the dashed lines.
是不是说振荡频率升高一个octave时,相位噪声第增加6dB可视为相位噪声性能没有恶化?

沒看到paper 大概用猜的...意思是說 這篇paper上的phase noise 比參考文獻上效能還好
它是正規化來作比較效能的好壞

Check Leeson's phase noise model, and you will find out that operating frequency doubles, phase noise increases by 6dB. that is to say, you will always get benefit of phase noise reduction if the same vco is used at lower frequency. in one word, your conclusion/guess is right.
