assume the layer number of PML is 4
you mean
sigma=max_sigma*((0:2:8)/8)^n
sigmam=max_sigma*((1:2:7)/8)^n
sigmam=sigmam*mu_0/epsilon_0;
i just use the following two formulas instead the last two formulas
max_sigmam=max_sigma*mu_0/epsilon_0;
sigmam=max_sigmam*((1:2:7)/8)^n
