基于左手材料提高微带天线方向性的研究
内容简介:左手材料是介电常数和磁导率全为负值的新型人工合成电磁材料,在其中传播电磁波的群速度与相速度方向相反。利用左手材料的平板透镜聚焦特性,可以改善天线的辐射性能,提高天线的方向性。在此利用左手材料这一特性设计出基于左手材料的微带天线。研究结果显示,加载左手材料以后的微带天线半功率束宽减小29°。验证了左手材料能够提高天线方向性这一特性。
Abstract:Left-handed material is a kind of new synthetic electromagnetic material in which the permittivity and permeability are all negative,and the group velocity of electromagnetic wave propagation is against the phase velocity. The radiation perfor-mance and the directivity of the antenna can be improved by using the slab lens focusing characteristic of the left-handed material. With this characteristic,a microstrip antenna based on left-handed materials is designed. The research results show that the beamwidth of half power can be reduced by 29° after uploading the left-handed material. The property that the left-handed materials can improve the directivity of the antenna was proved.
