Abstract:The expressions for the far-field relative error caused by finite scanning plane truncation in planar near-field measurements and the choice principle on the scanning plane width are given. The effect of finite scanning plane on ultra-low sidelobe antenna planar near-field measurements is studied by the method of computer simulation, with some basic laws obtained. Furthermore, the applicability and correctness of the choice principle on the scanning plane width for ultra-low sidelobe antenna planar near-field measurements are confirmed.
