does ADS support multiple simulation?

e.g. I have two different EM designs, I want to do the simulations for them same time. Is it possible?

You can't run in parallel (at the same time) with a single EM solver license, but there is a better solution:

With one change to the settings, you can "queue" multiple simulations. Then when one simulation is finished, the next similation will start running automatically. Very nice for overnight runs of multiple EM simulation tasks.

Here is where to switch on the queue:

If I understand correctly, you mean I am able to run several EM simulations in parallel in case multiple EM solver license available? if so, how to set up?

I meant the case that you start an EM simulation while another EM simulation is already running. If you have two EM licenses, both simulations will run in parallel (side by side). If you have only one license, you will get an error message that no license is available (the one you have is alredy in use). But if you use the queue, then the second simulation will start automatically as soon as the license becomes available.

Does this make sense?

how about circuit and EM co-simulation? how can I "queue" multiple simulations?

The setting above is done in the emSetup, so it will work for both cases: Momentum started stand-alone or Momentum started from co-simulation. But for the co-simulation case, if you have multiple EM blocks, ADS will start EM simulations one after another anyway - at least this is what I see with my single solver license.

If you describe your setup/requirements more precisely, and define what you mean by "parallel", it is easier to give advice. The word "parallel" might also refer to cluster simulation where multiple solvers run the same model at different frequencies, but I think that is not your case. We need to make sure we all discuss the same thing.

in a schematic, I have an emCosim view included. then I press simulate button to start the simulation. in another schematic, again I have an emCosim view included. however, as I press the simulate button, a window pops up and says that I have to stop the previous simulation for starting the new one. how can I put the second simulation into "queue" in a schematic so that the scond simulation will start as long as the first one is done?

I see ... I think I would define queue simulation in both emSetup settings, then start the EM simulation directly (not from schematic). Now both EM simulation will run one after another, with results stored into the emModel. Then when you come back later, the EM data already exists and schematic simulations will be very fast using the pre-computed EM data.

There might be a better way to do it, not sure ...
