Momentum FEM coax ports

I'm trying to figure out how to excite coax launches feeding the tops of a via array (mimicking a connector attachment). I built the vertical coax sections with solid center conductor with a same size pad on top. From reading some Momentum docs, it appears that FEM doesn't support area ports and that TML is edge only at the simulation boundary. I guess i could make the center cond a polyline and use an edge port connection (?). I worry that I can't accurately predict the effective coax impedance with a simplified cond. Also, I life to de-embed to the top pad of vias. Any help would be most appreciated.
