Scripting Data Display

Alright, say I have datasets and I need to filter out all the results that doesn't interest me. Then take those that pass and then Rectangular Plot them individually (I expect to produce about a dozen or so Rectangular Plots). May seem trivial right now and I would probably be told to simply use wildcards, but my dataset is a little bit more complicated than that.

So, how do I write a script like that in Data Display? The most direct approach I can see is Equations, but that only has Measurement Expressions. I even checked AEL and even there, there is hardly any function that will do it. de_plot() is the closest function, as far as I can tell, but that happens before simulation.

I can see that I can also work with the Data File directly. If that's the only option, how do I use the Data File Utilities to filter out the unneeded data? How do I automate it after simulation (after simply pressing F7)?
