Need help with Data Access Component ( DAC)

I have a table of values of Drain Current = f( Gate voltage, Drain Voltage ). I want to use the DAC to read these drain current values and fit them as a function of the gate voltage and drain voltage. Please let me know how I can go about this :

1. What file format should my data be in ?
2. Please explain what I should set in my independent variables and Interpolation Parameters properties in the DAC.
3. I am trying to read these values through a DAC and feed them as an input to a large signal model using a Symbolically Defined Device ( SDD ) .
