Using write_var() to save an equation variable?

录入:edatop.com    点击:

Hi

Write_var() works fine with circuits variable, but when I tried to use it to save an equation variable (calculated by an equation expression), it returns the following error.

write_var_f=write_var(file_name2,"W","! Gain"," ","f", 14, Gain)

returns error>>

While evaluating "write_var_f":

operand: invalid field access

How to export equation variable into file .txt or .csv?

Thanks

Suggest contacting your local Technical Support department. They might ask you to send the workspace, or demonstrate the behavior using WebEx, so they can try to reproduce the problem and evaluate any possible workarounds.

Does "Gain" evaluate to a constant? There is a known issue for such a case; we are investigating.

I just saw the comments now and not sure how I solved it.

In case somebody interested, I added [::] to the variable and it works

write_var(file_name_all,"A", "!Gain"," ","f", 14,Gain[::])

Thanks
