VCO Output Frequency Simulation in ADS

Hi everybody,

I am currently trying to simulate an integrated VCO in ADS. Particularly, it is this model: Crystek cvco55cl-0800-0980. I am trying to make some simple simulation to check the output frequency. I have tried with the VCO behavioral model (from the PLL Library) and a VtPulse Source, however I am not getting any consistent result. I guess that I am setting incorrectly the parameters, could someone help me with this? Thank you all in advance.

Since you don't know the schematic of that VCO, you cannot simulate it.I don't know which behavioral model from PLL library you have checked-out but VCOs are simulated with their full schematic+layout.
Behavioral models are used being as "simulation assistant" only in for some other simulations.Behavioral models cannot represent the real VCOs.
You'd better try to implement that VCO on a PCB and check physically.
