ads design antenna
can anyone help me to design these two antenna using HFSS
the first antenna is like this
it has as parameters:
the second antenna is:
it has as parameters:
please i need urgent help
and thanks in advance
Relative dielectric constant and losses? (εr, tanδ)
Dielectric slab thickness? (h)
Metallization thickness? (t)
Frequency?
BTW I'm not an HFSS user but an ADS Momentum one. I think it should not be very difficult to simulate both antennas.

i think too that it isn't difficult but i'am new in HFSS and i have to design these two antenna as soon as possible i don't have time.

Frequency , the first antenna is UWB's antenna and i will choose any dielectric
the frequancy is around 5.6GHZ for example .
the second antenna is a patch miniatarized antenna i can choose as dielectric FR4 with h = 1,6 mm
permittivity = 4,4 et un tan = 0,02.
for this phase i have to simulate which anu dielectric and i will modify them after trying to realize the antenna.
i'am waiting for your help.

I don't understand what you want to do. You cannot especify the lengths and widths of a antenna and expect it to work using"...any dielectric..." It has no sense
Once again. The antenna is not going to work with the aforementioned geometry if it is not designed to use FR4. And which frequency?
But, do you want to design the antennas or do you want to analyze them? Neither HFSS nor ADS are design programs. They are analysis programs and can help you to test your design before manufacturing. Of course you can make a parametrized geometry with all your lengths and widths, a goal function (say s11) an put HFSS/ADS to work. But that is not engineering. You can do that even without knowing what an antenna is.

he says to me to work as begining with any dielectric and we will chage it.
for the FR4, it's true this antenna work with FR4, i find it in a thesis.
there are RFID's antenna.

I edited the file that you sent you. The drawing that you posted does not have the size parameters, so i did not change that much. I did change the the overall boundary settings t give you an idea how to make it. All you have to to is fix the size of the patch.

i tried to do the simulation of the first antenna it was successeful but i'am not convinced because when i tried to visualize the gain or any other result in 3D polar i find result at zero
can any one tell me the problem

If u have good result for the S parameter, so u can easily obtain ragiation pattern, don't forget to create infinte sphere.
