ads simulation optimization
I designed wilkinson divider using ADS.I have run optimization,and get the result that i want(current EF=0) in schematics.But when i did co-simulation,the result can not meet the specification.What should i do in the next step?Because the optimization of schematics is OK.
Have you placed compleate transmission line with 5 port in layout? then export to layout look like after parametrization. Place the 100 Ohm resister. Then optimize.

Yes.I placed 3 ports in input and output termimals,and the other two ports to isolation resistor.and export to look alike.I do not know whether ADS has optimization funtion of microstrip in co-simulation?
Another question,whether can i add a resistor in layout,and directly tune the microstrip before Co-simulation?Can you tell me how to add it in detail?

Lumped resistor can not be placed in Layout. You can place the discrete component having W*L*H and you know the resistivity etc. its a long process so recomend to use schematic.
Do you know parametrization in Layout? if not go through the help.
You need to parametrize the 75 ohm length and width to get EF=0. If you export to schematic with layout look like then you will find these parameters in the schematic component.

You can get the detailed help from the installed folder C:\ADS2008\doc\mom\ads2008\Layout_Components_for_M omentum.html if it installed in C drive.
