Calculating S22 parameters with ADS

hello,

I am trying to make a simulator of a channel, and I have to introduce the s-parameters from ADS. I am measuring them in ADS with an I_probe. S21 and S12 it is ok, because I put a voltage source in port 1 (or 2) a term in port 2 (or 1) and I measure the current (with a I_probe) in port 2 (or 1). But, once I want to measure S11 or S22 I think I am doing it bad. For S22 I am putting a voltage source in port 2, a term in port 1, and measuing the current in port 2. Then I substract the signal I get minus the current in and I supossed that this is s22. I am doing well?

I am not sure I understand completely your problem.
But wht not just do an S-parameter simulation?

if u go directly the s-parameter simulation by specifying ur freq range then u can get all the s-parameters .

I think that the use of the S_parameters is better than this method.
You can use the help of ADS tool.
