Help to Measure the RF Power at Nodes in Schematic - AWR MWO

hello everyone,
could you please tell me that how can i measure the RF power at nodes that i want?
i designed my circuit in schematics in AWR MWO , placed the input port as source that gives 0 dB RF power, and i want to measure the RF power at output port and also internal nodes.
thank you

To measure the RF power at a selected point, you should make a provision in that point to locate two RF connectors and a "jumper" link between them.
Then, by removing the jumper, you can connect your power meter to the chosen connector, and measure the RF power.

Care must be taken that you make these test points to have a standard line impedance, like 50 Ohms. Then your power meter must also have this impedance asc well as a mating connector.

It is not a good idea to make one-connector test point and to try measure the RF power at it. Then you load the 50-Ohm line (or a line with another impedance) with your power meter. By mismatching the line by adding another load (50-Ohm power meter), it becomes impossible to measure the real RF power.

Up to frequencies like 30-40 MHz, instead of power meters, RF millivolt meters are available; some have a high input impedance. Then you can measure the RF voltage without loading the point or line under test; knowing the point/line impedance, you can calculate the RF power. Some oscilloscopes can be also used this way, to measure RF voltages.
Measuring RF power from voltages is usually less accurate than using power meters.

You can place V-probe and I-probe in AWR, then power = V*I

Hello,

Just put "Circuit annotations" for your circuit schematic such as

Annotate DC Power for All Elements: DC_PWRA
&
Annotate Total Power for All Elements: TOT_PWRA

Or use M_Probe & add "Total Power: PT" measurement & simply change the location of probe after simulation, you should get desired values for any node without resimulation...!

jiripolivka, toni, manju
thank you very much guys, m_probe is exactly what is need
regards
