Converting ADS Transistor Model to AWR without ADS
I have ADS models of some commercial transistors, but I am using AWR, so I need the AWR suitable versions of these models. In some of the topics of this forum, someone asked this issue again and it is replied by saying importing these to ADS and entering their parameters in AWR etc. etc. The topic is below.

My problem is that I do not have ADS. I am using just AWR, and need your help. Would you please help me about converting these models to AWR?
Waiting for your reply.
Regards
Small signal s-parameter models are same, no trouble..
But large signal models are generally crypted or compiled so you can not convert directly from ADS to AWR.All you can do is to enter model parameters manually.
Dear BigBoss,
Thank you for your reply. Would you please explain this manual entering in details, please.
Thank you
In parameter dialog of the model block, you should enter simply all the parameters by hand.
That's it..
Dear BigBoss,
I imported the zap file to ADS in order to see its parameters before entering them in AWR, but I could not see the parameters. I double-click to the transistor, and the opened window comes empty, as is the attached images. Would you please tell me how can i see its parameters, in order to enter them to AWR later?
Regards,
Cem
ADS circuits are hierarchical so you should get into down one step you will see Die+Package Parasitic and then if you get into down one more you're gonna see transistor itself and its model parameters explained as below
You are really big, my friend :D
thank you very much.
Would you mind if I disturb you again in case I come up with different problems again using PM?
Regards
Sure bro'..
