Dialog Boxes Are Not Displaying Properly

Dialog boxes in the AWR Design Environment are cut off and not all the information is displayed.

The Windows system font setting on your computer can cause this problem and changing this font setting will correct the problem. Some common symptoms of this problem can be seen if you double click on any model in Microwave Office or VSS, the Element Options dialog box will open. You need to change your font if the bottom of this dialog box does not appear or is cut off. The bottom of the box should display three items.

1. Element Enable check box.

2. Part Number text box.

3. The Show Secondary push button.

We have also seen cases where the Add Measurement or Modify Measurement dialog boxes do not display the proper controls on the right hand side.

In this case, you should make your Windows font smaller. If you notice the right side of the dialog box is cut off, you should make your Windows font bigger.

To change the windows font on Windows 10:

1. Click the Start button and open Control Panel
2. Click Display
3. Click set custom scaling level
4. Adjust scaling size until dialog shows the correct controls and text.?

To change the windows font on Windows 7 and 8 :

1. Click the Start button and open Control Panel.

2. Select Appearance and Personalization.

3. Under Display choose make text and other items larger or smaller.

4. Then set this back to smaller - 100% (default).
