IntelliSense Is Not Working in Visual Basic Editor

IntelliSense provides word completion when editing scripts. Sometimes this capability does not work properly.

You may need to re-register sb6ent.ocx . It is recommended that you close the AWRDE first.

To perform the re-regisration:

1. Open a command prompt (Start > Run and type " CMD " in the window).

2. In the command window, type cd followed by the path to your install directory (for example type cd C:\Program Files (x86)\AWR\AWRDE\XX ).

3. Type regsvr32 sb6ent.ocx and select Enter.

4. You should see a RegSvr32 window with with message "DLLRegisterServer in sb6ent.ocx succeeded."

5. Select OK to exit the RegSvr32 window.

6. Restart AWRDE.

If your Computer Operating System is Windows7, you will need to change the properties on CMD.exe .

To do this:

1. Select Start> My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Windows > System32 and scroll down to CMD.exe .

2. Right click and Run as Administrator.
