Turning Off the Startup Splash

When the AWR design environment starts, a startup image appears and stays on the screen for a while during which I cannot do anything in the program. How do I turn off the image?

When AWR design environment is launched, a rectangular image shows in the middle of the page and stays until the software is ready for use.

In order to prevent this image, also called "splash-screen", from appearing next time:

• Go to the Options > Environment Options menu.

• Under the Project tab, un-check the Show splash screen at startup checkbox.

This will ensure that while the AWR design environment is loading, there will be no splash screen.
