Note the following:

• It is possible to remove the effect of the backside ground for these elements.

• Taking out the backside ground effect for CPW1LINE (EM Quasi-Static) will not produce the same results as CPWLINE (Closed Form). This is because CPW1LINE assumes a substrate of infinite thickness while CPWLINE does not. See Element Help for CPW1LINE and CPWLINE for more information.

• The *_NOM parameters of CPW_SUB are used only by X-models. They have no effect on CPW line models that are not X-models.

It is recommended that you read Element Help for the CPW line models you plan to use in your design.
