基于FEKO和CST的太赫兹目标RCS仿真

内容简介:利用 FEKO和 CST 2套电磁计算软件对太赫兹频段目标雷达散射截面(RCS)进行对比仿真。首先计算同一理想导体球在1 GHz~500 GHz频率范围内的 RCS,得到理想导体球的 RCS特性曲线,与理论值进行比较,得出太赫兹频段下两者仿真性能相差较小的结论。然后分别对理想导体球、圆柱体和方形平板在太赫兹频段下不同姿态角的 RCS值进行计算,结果表明,两者在 RCS仿真上因目标不同而呈现不同性能,在计算中应根据实际目标选取合适的软件进行计算。

Abstract:The Radar Cross Sections(RCSs) of target radar in Terahertz band are simulated and compared in two sets of electromagnetic computing software, FEKO and CST. The RCSs of the same perfect conducting sphere are calculated in 1 GHz-500 GHz, thus the RCS characteristic curve is obtained, and compared with the theoretical values. The comparison results indicate that the simulation performances of FEKO and CST in Terahertz band are similar. Then the RCSs of perfect conducting sphere, cylinder and rectangular plate in THz band under different aspect angles are calculated by using FEKO and CST. It suggests that FEKO and CST exhibit different performances with different targets and suitable software should be chosen according to different targets.
