HFSS15: Plane Wave
录入:edatop.com 点击:
An incident plane wave is a wave that propagates in one direction and is uniform in the directions perpendicular to its direction of propagation. The angle at which the incident wave impacts the device is known as the angle of incidence.
The equation that HFSS uses to calculate the incident wave is
where
Einc is the incident wave.
E0 is the E-field polarization vector.
k0 is the free space wave number. It is equal to .
is the propagation vector. It is a unit vector.
r is the position vector and is equal to .
Incident wave excitations are specified in a peak sense. That is, if the incident wave magnitude is 5 V/m, then the real time function of the incident field is E(t) = 5cos(k*r+wt).
