CST2013: Material Parameters

EditObject Properties (navigation tree: Materials:material1Properties)
In this dialog box, you may modify a material’s properties that describe the material characteristics for all associated solids. Besides many different physical properties, color settings can be defined, influencing the visualization of the material in the main view.
Problem Type
A material may consist of different material sets. Each material set corresponds to a problem type that needs to be solved for the current model.
This drop down box shows the problem types of all defined material sets. The "Default" material set will always be visible.
To define / delete or reset a material set select the entry [Manage Material Sets...].
Dialog pages
This following dialog pages are available:
- General
Conductivity (for "Low Frequency" material sets)
Conductivity (for "Default" or "High Frequency" material sets)
Dispersion (for "Default" or "High Frequency" material sets)
Nonlinear (for "Low Frequency" material sets)
Density
Thermal
Mechanics
Shielded cable (for "Default" or "High Frequency" material sets)
Only the relevant dialog pages are available depending on the chosen problem type and the material type.
Please note that some material properties have no influence on LF simulations (e.g. Dispersion), whereas others are ignored in HF simulations (e.g. Nonlinear).

OK
Accepts the input and closes the dialog.
Cancel
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
Apply
Accepts the input without closing the dialog.

Shows this help text.
