Simulation: Solver Start Simulation Optimizer Goals Add new goal Port Attribute
Please not that port attribute goals cannot be defined any more. When you open a project which contains port attribute goals, then they will be converted automatically to a corresponding 0D Result Template Goal.
In this dialog box, you may define, for one port attribute goal, the attribute and the port that is being evaluated while the optimizer is running. In addition, you may define how the data will be evaluated.
Port / Mode frame
Select the port and mode that is used for the evaluation of the goal out of the respective drop list.
Port attribute frame
Select wave or line impedance here.
Conditions frame
Operator: You may select an operator from this drop list. The operator effects the way the data is being evaluated during an optimization run. Currently three different operators are available for the port attribute goal
<: The optimizer tries to find a parameter setting where the selected impedance becomes lower than the given target value.
>: The optimizer tries to find a parameter setting where the selected impedance becomes greater than the given target value.
=: You should use this operator if you want the wave or line impedance to become as close as possible to the given target value.
Target: Enter the target value for the line or wave impedance here.
Weight: Enter the weight of this goal here.
OK
Stores the current settings and returns to the Optimizer - Goals property page. The new defined goal is added to the list of defined goals in the Optimizer - Goals property page.
Cancel
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
