CST2013: Port Mode Information of Port: <name>

This dialog offers the possibility to calculate the properties of the port modes at one specific frequency or at determined sample frequencies by using the sweep functionality. If desired, the accuracy of the obtained results can be improved by performing a 2D mesh adaptation in the respective port region.
Frequency
Specify here the frequency at which the mode information will be calculated.
Accuracy
Input field for the accuracy value considering all calculated parameters in the result list and determining the 2D mesh adaptation. This field is only enabled if the Perform mesh adaptation check button is activated.
Please note that a smaller accuracy leads to more calculation runs and that the mesh adaptation is not available in connection with the sweep functionality.
Result list
This list box displays the final and intermediate results for all port modes after and during the adaptation passes. For each Mode, the propagating parameters Beta and Alpha as well as the wave and line impedances (Zwave, Zline) and the cutoff frequency Fcutoff are reported.
Calculate
The calculation of the port mode properties is started. In the case that a 2D mesh adaptation is performed, the adaptation passes are repeated until the defined accuracy value is reached.
Sweep...
This button opens the Port Mode Information Sweep dialog box, where the desired results can be calculated over a defined frequency range. Please note that this facility is not available in connection with the 2D mesh adaptation.
Close
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
