CST2013: Mechanical Sources
Several different source types are available for the mechanical solver:
Displacement | A displacement boundary condition can be assigned to an arbitrary number of faces. It is possible to define all or only certain components of the displacement vector. | |
Traction | A traction boundary condition can be assigned to an arbitrary number of faces. It is possible to define all or only certain components of the traction vector. | |
Field Import | Various fields can be imported from other solvers modifying the behavior of the system. For example, a temperature distribution contributes to the deformation of the model via thermal expansion. |
