Post Processing: 2D/3D Field Post Processing Cylinder Scan

Use this dialog to calculate nearfields on a cylindrical surface based on results of a farfield monitor.

Label

The name of the cylinder scan results in the navigation tree. Switch off automatic labeling to manually define a suitable label. The excitation string of the corresponding farfield result is always appended to the scan label.

Farfield Monitor

Selects the farfield monitor used for the cylinder scan calculation.

Frequency

Specifies the frequency point use for the cylinder scan evaluation. Available for broadband farfield monitors only.

Base

Sets the base of the scan cylinder in project units.

Axis

Sets the alignment axis of the scan cylinder.

Cylinder Frame

Radius: Cylinder radius in meters.

Height: Cylinder height in meters.

Step: Sampling step in degree.

Calculate

Calculates the configured cylinder scan. The result is added to the 2D/3D Results in the navigation tree.

Abort

Aborts a running calculation.

Close

Leaves the dialog.
