CST2013: Frequency Domain Solver Settings

录入:edatop.com     点击:

Before the frequency domain solver can be started, several settings and definitions should be made. These settings are grouped on the ribbons to allow an easy and intuitive access.

Please refer also to the QuickStart Guide which guides you interactively through these steps.

Field Monitors

If you define a monitor, the S-parameters for this frequency will be automatically calculated, unless the corresponding option in the Frequency Domain Solver Parameters is deactivated. The monitor definition introduces another frequency sample. If you want to store the E- and H-Fields for all calculation frequencies, you may activate the "store all results" checkbox in the Frequency Domain Solver Parameters. To calculate antenna radiation patterns, you must first define a Farfield monitor.
Note: It is also possible to add monitors after an S-Parameter calculation has been performed. See 1D-Plot Overview for further details.

Start Simulation Frequency Domain Solver

Before starting the solver, you may change the frequency sample definitions. Please keep in mind that frequency ranges may not exceed the global frequency range.

Note: Several basic settings can be made in advance by selecting an application specific project template.

After making these settings you may start the solver by pressing the Solver Start Solver button.
