CST2013: Circular Subvolume
Simulation: Mesh Global Properties Edit Circular Subvolume
In this dialog box one may define a circular subvolume in a 2D mesh plane. If the number of segments is larger than one an azimuthal periodicity is automatically assumed.
The type of periodicity can be defined as well.
Note: The specified subvolume must not exceed the boundaries of the calculation domain.
Outer Radius
Set the outer radius of the circular subvolume.
Inner Radius
Set the inner radius of the circular subvolume. If this value is zero the subvolume is a simple circle segment without inner hole.
Axis Position
Sets the axis position inside the 2D mesh plane.
Type
Select the periodicity type. Periodic means that the field pattern simply repeats, whereas Antiperiodic causes a change of the sign for each repetition of a segment.
Segments
Sets the number of segments which build a full circle. Consequently the angle of a segment is: 360 / NumberOfSegments.
Angular Shift
Specifies an angular offset for the subvolume.
OK
Accepts the changes and closes the dialog. If changes were made, the mesh will be updated.
Cancel
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
Help
Shows this help text.
Preview
Press this button to get a preview of the circular subvolume.
