The Current Monitor Mode may be entered only if a curve with at least one curve item has already been defined.

Steps to create a Current Monitor

After you have entered the current monitor mode, you will be asked to select the curve item on which the magnetic field will be integrated. The selected curve for the integration must be a closed path. The selection may be performed by double-clicking on the desired curve item in the main plot window. After you have selected a curve, the Make Current Monitor From Curve dialog box will appear, where a name and the orientation for the monitor may be specified.

Cancel

You can leave this mode by pressing ESCAPE.
