CST2013: Voxel Data Properties

Use this dialog to import voxel data files like the anatomical data of the CST Voxel Family or any other voxel model in an appropriate file format.

The voxel data shape's center is located in the origin of the active coordinate system. Thus you can activate and move a WCS before the import to initially position the voxel data model. After the import, you can translate, rotate or scale the voxel data.

Name

Specify the unique name for the voxel data.

Material folder

Displays the material folder name. You can either choose a material folder name from the select  list, or create  a new one by typing name of it..

Resolution

Choose the resolution of the data set.

Mesh priority

By default, voxel material replaces all other (even PEC) material. To overwrite voxel material, set its mesh priority to -1 and the priority for all other material to greater or equal zero. See Local Mesh Properties and Staircase and PBA mesh for more details.

Volume selection

Select a part of the data set’s volume by dragging the rubber-band. Use the front/side radio buttons to  change the view.

Frequency

Select the appropriate frequency to define the material properties of the voxel data model tissues.

Properties...

Show the material properties of the voxel data model tissues for the selected frequency.

Materials

Select the materials used. The All materials button selects or de-selects all materials.

Bounding Box

The bounding box info of the selected and the total volume.

Total voxel volume

The total volume in MB.

Selected voxel volume

The selected volume in MB.

OK

Import the voxel data model with the current settings.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
