Face refinement
Refinement across axially aligned face and Refinement across elliptic face refers to refinement settings for axially aligned and elliptic face respectively.
None: No mesh refinement.
Minimum number of cells across face: This number defines the minimum number of cells across a face.
Fraction of maximum cell near to model: A value is calculated by dividing the maximum cell near to model by this number, which is further used to refine the face .
Absolute value: Specify an absolute value for refinement.
Additional cells around face: Specify the number of additional cells around face.
Edge refinement
Refinement around edge refers to refinement settings for edges.
None: No mesh refinement.
Available minimum cell: The minimum cell calculated is used for edge refinement.
Fraction of maximum cell near to model: A value is calculated by dividing the maximum cell near to model by this number, which is further used to refine the edge.
Absolute value: Specify an absolute value for refinement.
Additional cells around edge: Specify the number of additional cells around edge.
Consider PEC / lossy metal edges only: Check this to consider edges with only PEC or Lossy metal defined for mesh refinement.
Consider axially aligned edges only: Check this to consider only axially aligned edges for mesh refinement.
Additional cells around bounding box:
Specify the number of additional cells around the bounding box of the model.
Smooth mesh with equilibrate ratio:
This function attempts to create a mesh where the variation between neighboring mesh lengths is less than the defined value. It creates a smooth transition between the smallest and the highest mesh length. This lowers artificial dispersion and increases the spatial smoothness of the simulated fields.
Note: This option may increase the number of mesh points.

Check this to use material properties for mesh refinement.

Accepts the changes and closes the dialog.
Close
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
Apply
Accepts the input without closing the dialog.
