CST2013: Modify Point Location

This dialog box allows you to change the coordinates of a picked point which has previously been selected from the list box in the List of Selected Points dialog box.

You may specify a translation vector which will be applied to the point coordinates in order to obtain the new point location. This translation vector is specified either in global or in local coordinates, depending on which system is currently active.

DX/DY/DZ

Specify valid expressions for the components of the translation vector which will be used to transform the point coordinates. Since this translation vector is specified in global coordinates, these settings are only visible when the global coordinate system is currently active.

DU/DV/DW

Specify valid expressions for the components of the translation vector which will be used to transform the point coordinates. Since this translation vector is specified in local coordinates, these settings are only visible when a local coordinate system is currently active.

Keep original item

This check box allows you to specify whether the original points shall be kept or skipped when the translation is applied.

OK

Press this button to apply the specified translation to the selected points. The display of the point locations in the main view will be updated immediately.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
