The macro allows to export the Farfields computed in your CST MICROWAVE STUDIO project into feed files for the program GRASP from TICRA. All the settings in this menu influence the farfield calculation in CST MWS. Most of the settings are taken over directly from the farfield properties menu.
Select Farfield Monitor
Select an individual farfield for the export or export all available farfields at once.
Angular variation
Allows to specify the angular resolution (thstsp, phstep) for the farfield export. With thlow, thigh, phlow, phhigh the angular range on the farfield sphere can be limited.
Nearfield / Farfield
Decide between an export of farfield data or transformed near field data. For nearfield data the distance to the origin has to be specified (for more information please check the farfield properties help Farfield Plot – Plot Mode ).
Farfield Origin
This is an option out of the farfield properties. Specify the origin for the CST MWS farfield integration. (Farfield Plot – Origin)
Select Polarization Type
Decide between three different polarization types for the export. All of those polarizations are automatically identified by GRASP.
theta, phi: The polarization which is used by default in CST MWS plots
LHCP,RHCP: Left Hand and Right Hand Circular Polarization
Ludwig 3: (Farfield Overview)
Polarization Vector
Allows to align the coordinate system with the main lobe direction and the polarization vector (y’-axis). (Farfield Plot – Axes)
OK
Starts the export process.
Cancel
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
