CST2013: Thermal Solver Problem Handling
This page contains a list of the most important warning and error messages in the context of the thermal solver together with a detailed explanation of the meaning and proposal for handling and resolution.
The following materials are excluded from the mapping of external loss distributions: "'xxx". The minimum relative conductance value for the loss mapping was set to xxx which results in a threshold conductance of xxx W/K/m.
Some materials were excluded from the loss mapping due to their low thermal conductivity. The minimum relative thermal conductivity can be adjusted in Thermal Loss Distribution Specials dialog box. Please check the imported and considered loss values "Heat Flow Values" note, which can be accessed from the navigation tree after the simulation was completed.
Note: If the threshold value is chosen too low this might result in high temperature values within low conductive materials. On the other hand a threshold which was chosen too high might result in a reduced amount of losses which are considered for the thermal simulation.
