CST toolbar ：leave current mode

Hi , everyone!

About the microwave software CST,there is a function named "leave current mode" in the toolbar.

I download a cst file from the Internet. In this modle, some components used "Leave current mode" and there is a red cross in its name.


So I puzzled. The red cross means these components(brick, cone,cinlinder and so on) are not efficient in the simulation condition? And How to use "Leave

current mode"? I can't find help file.

Who can upload the pictures which discribe the process step by step ?
