evaluate field on face cst

In CST Microwave Studio 2008, I would like to evaluate the electric field on a surface, for example a sphere, and export only that data (as a function of time or frequency) and not the gobs of other data points. I tried using the Results>Evaluate Fields>Evaluate Field on Face with a spherical face, but I could only get it to output the integral of the field (and a couple other parameters). However, I would like the field itself.

Could someone help me out? Thanks.

I haven't seen such possibility in CST. You can probably add manually or by some macros a lot of field monitors in given positions in the space, but this is not very convinient probably. What is the problem under your analysis?

Surface based fields request/export is available in EMCoS EMC Studio - I can try if the problem is suitable.
