How to use Lumped elements with ports in CST

录入:edatop.com     点击:
Hi,
I want to use Lumped element on a port for impedance matching purpose. I used a discrete port and then I used a Lumped element. When I tried to simulate I get this error."The discrete port 1 has the same mesh location as the lumped element element1."
Then I used Waveguide port and I get this error "Distance between lumped element "element1" and waveguide port 1 is too small. Must be at least three mesh steps. Please check the element location."

Please help me in solving this problem.

In the case of discrete port: Define a discrete port impedance directly in port setting (only real valued impedance is support).

In the case of waveguide port: Waveguide port generaly needs some homegeneous space in front of propagation wave direction. This is in many case ensured by solver automatically however you are in situation when you must ensured uniform mesh creation manually (three meshes is minimum).

Good Luck

Hello,
I am looking for 2D/3D results with matching in CST.
Do you think it is possible if I calculate the matching circuit in macros with mini match and then place the lumped elemets (L, C) with the discrete port and start the simulation again?
Or is there another way if I can find the H-field / E field result with matching?

Please help me...
