cst - ports not parallel to planes
how can i define ports (of a microstrip) which are not parallel to planes(x,y,z)?

No way :( It is one of the main restriction of MWS.
CST support advices to draw a matched bend for such a case.
Yes, this problem is really annoying in many structures. But I think (I did not try it myself though) the new CST tetrahedral mesh should solve this problem but you will need to solve in the frequency domain rather than the time domain in this case.
For the hexahedral mesh, the wave port should be set parallel to XY/XZ/YZ, while for the tetrahedral mesh, the wave port can be arbitrary.
